Charity
Our Charity Pillar reflects the heart of who we are as Knights—men committed to serving those in need with compassion, generosity, and action. We support our community through a variety of charitable programs, including regular contributions to the local Food Pantry, providing over 200 winter coats to children in Woodridge through Coats for Kids, and offering assistance to Special Olympics and several organizations that support individuals with intellectual disabilities. We also honor and uplift individuals in need through efforts such as Jano, helping families during difficult times.
Our council excels in this spirit of giving, always ready to step forward when our community needs us most. Whether responding after tornadoes, home fires, or other emergencies, our members have been there—offering hands, resources, and hope. Through these acts of service, we live out our calling as Knights and strengthen the bonds of charity that unite our entire community.
Brotherhood
Our Brotherhood Pillar is at the heart of who we are as Knights. We deepen our bonds through shared prayer, service, and genuine fraternity—supporting one another as Catholic men striving to live out our faith with integrity. Whether working side‑by‑side on service projects, gathering for fellowship, or offering support during life’s challenges, we strive to ensure every brother knows he is valued and never walks alone.
Through these relationships, we build a strong foundation of trust, camaraderie, and spiritual connection. Brotherhood strengthens our mission, enriches our service, and reminds us that we grow strongest when we grow together. As Knights, we stand as brothers—united in faith, purpose, and friendship.
Faith
Our Faith Pillar strengthens the spiritual life of our council by helping brothers grow closer to Christ and to one another. Each month, we gather for the Holy Rosary, lifting up the needs of our parish, our families, and our community through prayer. These regular moments of reflection ground us in our shared mission and deepen the bonds of fraternity that define who we are as Knights.
We also support the faith formation of our youth by providing Bibles to local 6th‑grade students, helping them build a personal relationship with Scripture at a pivotal stage in their spiritual journey. During Lent, our council leads Stations of the Cross, walking together with Christ in His Passion and inviting parish families to join us in this powerful tradition. Through prayer, service, and brotherhood, our Faith Pillar ensures that everything we do is rooted in a living, faithful connection to God and to one another.
Family
By encouraging shared experiences and genuine support, we help families live out their Catholic faith together. Strong families make strong Knights, and united in Christ, we continue to grow as one parish family.
Our Family Pillar brings parish families and brother Knights together through meaningful, faith‑filled fellowship. We support strong family life by creating opportunities to connect and grow, including events such as Trunk‑or‑Treat, the Chili Cook‑Off, and the St. Scholastica School Annual Gala. These gatherings help families build relationships, strengthen their faith, and feel at home within our parish community.
