For many of us, the Tootsie Roll Drive is a familiar tradition. But for individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families, the support it provides is something much deeper. It creates opportunities, strengthens programs, and reminds them that they are valued members of our community.
This year, we’ve budgeted $11,000 in collections. That’s a good goal. But the real question is: what if we didn’t settle for good?
What if we challenged ourselves to make this our most successful drive yet? What if every Knight gave a few hours of his time? What additional therapies, programs, scholarships, equipment, and support could be funded right here in our community? How many more lives could be touched?
The success of this drive isn’t measured by dollars alone. It’s measured by the hope we provide and the lives we impact. Every shift volunteered is another opportunity to show that our commitment to charity extends beyond words and into action.
Please sign up to help. Together, let’s do more than reach a goal. Let’s make a difference that lasts.
