SUMMARY:Intellectual Disability Tootsie Roll Drive - Jewel Storefront
DESCRIPTION:More Than a Fundraiser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor many of us\, the Tootsie Roll Drive is a familiar tradition. But for individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families\, the support it provides is something much deeper. It creates opportunities\, strengthens programs\, and reminds them that they are valued members of our community. \nThis year\, we’ve budgeted $11\,000 in collections. That’s a good goal. But the real question is: what if we didn’t settle for good? \nWhat if we challenged ourselves to make this our most successful drive yet? What if every Knight gave a few hours of his time? What additional therapies\, programs\, scholarships\, equipment\, and support could be funded right here in our community? How many more lives could be touched? \nThe success of this drive isn’t measured by dollars alone. It’s measured by the hope we provide and the lives we impact. Every shift volunteered is another opportunity to show that our commitment to charity extends beyond words and into action. \nPlease sign up to help. Together\, let’s do more than reach a goal. Let’s make a difference that lasts.\n \n\nContact Brad or John to get added to list below (Really need support for the 3PM-5PM Saturday and 11AM-5PM Sunday) (Consider inviting Family and Friends to join if you are coming or can’t make it): \nAugust 8th:                                                                                    August 9th: \n9AM-11AM:  1 Needed  (Ron S.\, Marty D.\, Craig S.)                    9AM-11AM:  1 Needed  (Ron S.\, Jerry B.\, Noel Z.) \n11AM-1PM:   2 Needed (Robert E.\, Brad W.)                                 11AM-1PM:   3 Needed (Brad w.) \n1PM- 3PM:  2 Needed (Dave K.\, Jerry M.)                                     1PM- 3PM:  3 Needed (Dave K.) \n3PM-5PM:  3 Needed (Roy C.)                                                          3PM-5PM:  3 Needed (Roy C.) \n\nPlease enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form. Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.Participant NameFirstLast \n Number Participant the\n \n \n Participant EmailNumberRegister for a Timeslot for the ID DriveSat 8/8 @ 9AM-11AMSat 8/8 @ 11AM-1PMSat 8/8 @ 1PM-3PMSat 8/8 @ 3PM-5PMSun 8/9 @ 9AM-11AMSun 8/9 @ 11AM-1PMSun 8/9 @ 1PM-3PMSun 8/9 @ 3PM-5PMRegister for Timeslot \n\n  \n  \n  \n  \n

SUMMARY:Woodridge Community Food Pantry Volunteer Day
DESCRIPTION:Join your Brother Knights\, family members\, and friends as we serve our neighbors in need at the Woodridge Community Food Pantry Volunteer Day. \n\nThe Woodridge Community Food Pantry provides food and essential household items to local families facing difficult circumstances. Rising food costs and economic challenges continue to place pressure on many households\, making the Pantry’s mission more important than ever. Through our volunteer efforts\, we help ensure that individuals\, children\, seniors\, and families in our own community receive the support they need with dignity and compassion. \nVolunteers may assist with sorting donations\, stocking shelves\, organizing inventory\, and preparing food distributions. No special skills are required\, just a willingness to serve. \nAs Knights\, we are called to put our faith into action. Serving at the Food Pantry is a direct way to live out the principles of Charity and Fraternity\, while making a tangible difference in the lives of our neighbors. A few hours of our time can help provide meals for families\, ease burdens for those struggling financially\, and demonstrate Christ’s love through service. \nWhether you can volunteer for just one hour or stay for the full shift\, your help makes a difference. Even a single hour of assistance helps the Pantry serve more families efficiently\, while volunteering for the entire four-hour shift makes an enormous impact on their ability to organize\, prepare\, and distribute resources to those in need. \nWhether you are a longtime volunteer or serving for the first time\, your participation matters. We encourage all Knights to join us and consider bringing a family member\, prospective Knight\, or friend to share in this rewarding experience. \nTogether\, we can help ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. \nVivat Jesus!
